Fulton Co Electors Bid to Disqualify DA & Supreme Court Opinion on Faithless Electors 2020
Not a lot of people understand what it means to be a "faithless elector" and how far states have gone to protect from having faithless electors. Mainly this is because we have strayed for so long from the original concept of the electoral college. Some of this was done quite earlier than you would even imagine. The timing of the charges stemming from Fulton County, the opinion of the supreme court in the summer of 2020 going into the election, and a new Guardian article highlighting the DOJ attacking legislative measures enacted to relieve public stress about election interference opportunities all line up with the attack on Trump and our election procedure.
