Self-examination at the Lord's Supper (1 Cor 11)

Paul reveals the purposes of the Lord's Supper in this passage with a warning. We must use it as a time for self-examination. If we judge ourselves, God will not have to discipline us so harshly. Therefore, the Lord's Supper is a great opportunity for believers to make things right between themselves and God and the family of faith.
