When making a video portrait of a friend, it helps when you already know her (or him) for a long, long time. So it is with Michaela. She lives and works some 23 years in an old school in the village Roodeschool (i.e. red school) in the province Groningen, Netherlands. She became a true artist who sees life as a piece of art itself. She organizes ceremonies that are meant for health and well-being. She repaired and restored the school building herself with help from her friends. On the shore at the North Sea she tells us about her motivations and inspirations.
