According to Sixth Tone, a Chinese government-controlled news outlet, the local government of Xiamen recently ordered municipal workers to test both fishermen and their catch, including “live fish” and crabs, for the Chinese coronavirus out of fear that international fishing activity in the area may have sparked local epidemics of the virus, which has been linked to several deaths in recent months.
