Kay's Easy Crochet Patterns: Washcloths

This basic washcloth pattern is for anyone new to crochet. This pattern includes all basic stitches that are found in my Kay’s Basics playlist. If you are unsure of any of the stitches, start with those basic tutorials first.

Tools Used In This Video:

Hook – 4.0mm (or a hook that matches your yarn of choice)
Yarn – any Cotton or Cotton/Bamboo blend; I used Lion Brand Coboo in pink

Pattern:

Chain 26 (or any even number to get to the width you desire)

Row 1: sc in second chain from the hook, and in every chain across (25 sc)
Row 2: ch 1, (hdc in the first stitch, sc in the next stitch) repeat until the end of row (25 stitches)
Row 3: ch 1, sc in every stitch across (25 sc)
Row 4 - 25: repeat rows 2 and 3

Fasten off; weave in ends

Note: you can repeat rows 2 and 3 as many times as you want to get it to the length you desire
