UFC President Dana White & Top Fighters Slam FBI Trump Raid
'There's 10 other people’s houses that probably should’ve been raided before his,' White said.
Jorge Masvidal called the raid a 'sad day in the USA.'
Ultimate Fighting Championship President Dana White as well as many of the company’s top current and former fighters are speaking out against the FBI’s raid of Donald Trump’s Florida resort Mar-a-Lago Monday night.
Asked about the Trump raid during a Tuesday press conference, White responded, “It’s madness, man. The whole world is crazy right now. I don’t know what to think, and I don’t know enough about it, and I haven’t talked to him. I’ve only seen bits and pieces on the news, so I don’t know exactly what’s going on.”

“But I’ll probably call him in the next couple days,” he added. “I didn’t want to call him. I’m sure he’s got better fucking things to do than for me to call and say, ‘Hey, what’s going on over there?’ But I will talk to him in the next couple days.”

However, White did go on to say, “I can think of about, you know without getting political and all this bullshit, but there’s 10 other people’s houses that probably should’ve been raided before his that haven’t happened so it’ll be interesting to see how this plays out.”

UFC Welterweight contender and Trump supporter Jorge Masvidal also shared his view on the raid in a Monday night Twitter post, writing, “Sad day in the USA today. These are the tactics of Cuba and Venezuela. No matter what side of the aisle you are on, this ain’t right #loveUSA.”
Former UFC contender and jiu-jitsu specialist Jake Shields tweeted, “The FBI will send 30 agents to raid a political enemies house but not a single agent to investigate a mass shooter.”
He also wrote, “I remember always hearing about how China would censor and of arrest Their political dissidents Sound familiar?”
Middleweight UFC fighter Ian Heinisch commented on a couple of posts condemning the raid and wrote, “The powers that are in charge are very corrupt!”

He also retweeted a post announcing, “Good morning to everyone except the FBI.”
UFC light heavyweight fighter Dustin Jacoby posted a mind-blown emoji in response to a tweet highlighting the fact that many other public figures weren’t raided by the FBI for their scandals.
Retired UFC legend Tito Ortiz wrote, “Wake up America,” along with a meme of President Trump reading, “In reality, they’re not after me, they’re after you.”
It would be awesome if sports stars playing for establishment-controlled leagues like the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS and others spoke out as loudly as the UFC’s fighters and president.
