Eddie Van Halen Phone Interview 1982 (Off-The-Record) Talks about Roth, Criticizes Other Guitarists

SPOILERS (if you need convincing)

This was for a magazine, and of course a lot of it isn't off-the-record, but this is one of the best interviews I have heard. Eddie doesn't pretend to always understand, even when the interviewer is talking guitar, and Eddie will reply, "5-yr old speak"...

Eddie keeps asking the guy if he wants to hear a new song. He plays "Jump", and the interviewer can't say nothing more than, "I like the sustain" -- "That's the telephone feedback", but doesn't throw the obligatory "That's great man!"..

Eddie talks some shit, shop, and at one point tells the interview, "If you tell anyone, I'll come over to your house and kill your family".... Eddie seems very down-to-earth, except when he talks about other guitarists.
