Pimp My Filter #62 - Jebao 404 Canister Filter

Apart from the narrowed intake pipe inside the filter which may reduce the flow slightly this seems to be a decent product for the (very) low price.

The 404 filter will take 1.5kg / 3.3 lbs of Biohome Ultimate per tray so 3 trays of media in this filter is 4.5kg / 9.9 lbs.
That makes it suitable for a normally stocked tank of up to 450 litres / 118 US gallons or a heavily stocked tank of up to 225 litres / 59 US gallons if you want o achieve a full cycle.
The 402 and 403 versions of the filter also take 1.5kg / 3.3 lbs of Biohome Ultimate per tray.
A full cycle is the processing of ammonia, nitrite AND nitrate - Yes, it can be achieved with enough of the right media.
