Storing Azure Spices | #everybitcountschallenge | Split Pea Soup | decanting Pantry spices

As part of the every bit counts challenge, today is day 16, August 16 2022.

Split pea soup
3 carrots
1 onion
3 celery
2 cups (1 pound) split peas
Bay leaves
1 tsp garlic powder
4 cups stock or water
2-3 cups ham
1/4 tea dry dill weed
Salt and pepper to taste
Bring to boil reduce heat
Simmer 2-3 hours or until desired tenderness
