How does a Nuobell dumbbell work?

The Nuobell adjustable dumbbells use a twisting handle mechanism.

Each time you twist the handle, you go up or down in increments of 5 lbs.

The weight you select is visible right next to the handle.

The handle has knurling for a real metal dumbbell feel and secure grip.

Are Nuobells Safe?

Yes, they are safe.

The handle locks when it's off the cradle.

The weight plates have a male-female connector that interlocks them so they are tightly connected.

And a metal rod goes through the middle of the weight plates to prevent them from moving.

Just like any adjustable dumbbell, there are many moving parts that make these different from traditional dumbbells.

For that reason, they are not meant to be dropped repeatedly, otherwise, the mechanism and other parts may damage.
