How to Create A Bonsai Tree

In this video, I am going over some of the basics of starting a bonsai tree. This is very much a beginner's guide to bonsai, any advanced bonsai techniques will be in future videos, such as how to wire bonsai trees. In this video, I am using boxwood shrubs. Boxwood bonsais are great for beginners who want something to keep outside. For both of the plants in the video, I am just starting bonsai from regular trees and shrubs, nothing fancy or expensive here. As I start these bonsai trees, I explain my thoughts and logic behind the various steps and methods I am using. Some people do things differently, like root pruning first, then potting, then pruning. There are a lot of ways to bonsai, this is just what works for me as pertaining to keeping things simplified anyway. With my bonsai trees, I first went over how to prune bonsai trees, then how to root prune bonsai trees, soils for bonsai trees, how to pot bonsai trees, and finally some light info on watering bonsai trees and fertilizing bonsai trees.
