The 3-second offense is divided into 3-second offense and 3-second defense. 3 seconds in possession of the ball, the team members shall not stay in the penalty area for more than 3 seconds. A team controls the ball upfield and starts counting 3 seconds. Defense 3 seconds a 3-second violation occurs when a defender is more than 3 seconds away from the nearest offensive player and his arm is more than 3 seconds away from the 3-second zone. Swing of the elbow swing of the elbow is not allowed to excessive or forceful swing of the elbow (no contact) . It is an offence when a defender is nearby and the offensive player has the ball.
