Land of the Lost Theme Song Cover

If I had to pick one favorite Saturday morning television show from my childhood, without a second thought, I’d pick Land of the Lost. The show is the brainchild of Sid and Marty Krofft who were famous for many children’s programs and variety shows. I’m sure everyone has their favorite, but I’m willing to bet Land of the Lost is at the top of everyone’s list.

There is so much to love about the show and it all starts with one of the most iconic opening theme songs from any television show in the last 50 years. That’s what this video is all about. The video footage of me with my brother David and my brother-in-law Adam, backpacking through Buckskin Gulch in Southern Utah, only serves as the inspiration for covering this catchy tune.

With the help of my friend Brain, the musical mastermind behind the production, we covered the song in his home studio. I bring the vocals to life, while Brian provides the all instrumentation, mixing and just a little back-up.
