Nuclear war-Study:2/3 of the Earth's population will be "wiped out" by radiation and starvation

By what the studies show, I doubt the global elite want to go this route with a large scale nuclear war for furthering their depopulation agenda, it would risk their own abilities to survive on a very sun baked planet. And since they are setting everything up for total control and dominance over worlds population after the already in progress decrease, I don't see them wanting to spend their lives in bunkers. I could be wrong though.
