In St. John’s, Andrew Furey, the premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, announces additional measures to address recruitment and retention of physicians in the province. He is joined by Tom Osborne, the minister of health and community services, Dr. Sohaib Al-Asaaed, a postgraduate dean for medical education, and Dr. Mikaela Murphy, a second-year family medicine resident.
