Everything people throw away disappears from our sight, but never really disappears. Incineration of our waste is popular and cheered as it is used to create energy, but the fact is that waste and energy demand wouldn't be there if we lived to reduce by reusing the top two levels of the environmental hierarchy. Incineration also emits many harmful pollutants and leaves ash which is a hazardous material.
