With women’s soccer getting more popular around the world, opportunities are plentiful for budding young players who dream about representing their country in international competitions. Over the years, UEFA has been especially active in organizing various different competitions based on age groups. The UEFA Women’s Under-19 and Under-17 Championships were established in 1997 and 2007 respectively. Both these Championships are national competitions aimed at discovering exciting young players who will become the stars of tomorrow.
