Hal Lansky - Clothier to the King - Exclusively Dressing Elvis Presley

Hal Lansky, the son of Lansky Bros. founder Bernard Lansky, was the delivery boy who would deliver clothing to Graceland for Elvis Presley to wear. Lansky Bros was the Clothier to the King, Elvis Presley from the 1950s to 1960s and into the 1970s.

Today, along with his daughter Julie Lansky, he carries on the Lansky Bros. legacy that is still operating retails stores in the lobby of the historic Peabody Hotel in downtown Memphis. Bernard Lansky, the founder of Lansky Bros. was given advice on his 18th birthday by his father telling him that he could conquer anything as long as he worked hard.
