WAR and the Atlanta Rhythm Section join forces for today's Segue City Special with their paen to this time of year where, especially in the South, the humidity has its way with everyone who ventures out into the sunlight and deals with it and the heat to break in a fine sweat. The greatest invention to affect the region was and still is air conditioning. Air conditioned house to air conditioned car to air conditioned store... it works.

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.
