Trump claims FBI took all his passports

Former US President Donald Trump has claimed on 15 August that FBI had taken all three of his passports during the agency's raid of his Mar-a-Lago property.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the agency "stole" his three passports, including one that was expired, as a part of the search. He reiterated that the raid amounted to political persecution and called it "an assault on a political opponent at a level never seen before."

Last week FBI agents had recovered 20 boxes of materials, including classified materials, documents and photos, according to a list of documents released by the US Justice Department.
