Happy Blessed Sabath everyone,
So I have begun my vanity fast for this season of change and Blessings. Basically its just no wigs and make-up lol.....but I still got my SNAP CHAT Filter,,,,jk no to that too. I'll be doing this fast from now until Sept 30, 2019 the day of the Holy New Year. Feast of the Trumpets, which is the next class after this is completed.
I encourage others if so pulled, to take part in this fast. We can still dress as we normally do, but just no make-up, prefume, wigs, clips in etc....sorry guys I dont know how this would apply to men, but you all are welcome to particiapte also.
Why, this fast? Because I am declaring to the Lord that the outside is not what I need to feel good about loving me or God, but the Holy Spirit within me. May sound odd to some, but fasting on worldly ways is a practice of removing what is not needed to truly focus on God. This past summer I fasted on working out. That was rough, be cause I love working out. BUt, all Glory be to God, I didnt gain one single pound and was able to complete a run and hike, on my first week back. God sustains all the righteous, Testimony, testimony, testimony!!!!
