The Sims 3: Fire (Part One)

Now that I have established that I am making this Sim a fire-themed acrobat, I am starting a new series of it. In all Sims games and just about anything else that involves extensive customization and being able to create more than one character, I tend to create and often start with acrobats I dreamed up some years ago that represent the four elements: fire, air, water and earth. I have made them in The Sims 3 many times, but no longer have any of the Sims or any other Sims files I used to work with, including anything I've ever made. I actually started a fire Sim in The Sims 4 when I tried going back to it again just recently, but I even lost her already, too.

In any case, my idea came about during my first pregnancy, when I decided I really wanted to take four dolls and customize them in this manner, whereupon I would hang them from miniature aerial apparatus from the ceiling for my children to look at. I hate to say that it has been several years and I haven't managed to make a lot of progress in that regard, but am still working on it and have accumulated a fair number of materials and all of the doll parts I need, so I will be making videos in the future of where I am going with that, too.

I also have a bunch of concept art that I've done. Earth and fire still need work, but my drawings of air and water are pretty much spot-on in terms of my vision. I've been having difficulty to get the other two to come out right and have made multiple attempts at each one.

As for this Sim, I start off with golden eyes and try out a bunch of types of hair and work out the hair color. Then I am adjusting the sliders more. Next I am trying to find the right cosmetics for how I've always imagined her to look. You may notice I put a pinkish tinge in a lot of the reds, to create a bit more intense spectrum of colors for my fire motif.

Anyway, that's about that for now.
