Several civil society environmental organisations protested in Paarden Eiland

Several civil society environmental organisations, supporters and community members protested in Paarden Eiland on Monday to call on government to protect the livelihoods of coastal communities and end all offshore oil and gas extraction activities. This comes after failure to meaningfully engage those affected by numerous development projects happening along the South African coastline as well as inland.
