This Is Why I Stopped Meal Prepping (As Explained By Star Wars Characters)
When I started taking fitness seriously at 21, I was ALL about the meal prep life. I'd make my little Tupperwares, I'd eat them every 3 hours like clockwork, I'd follow the 80/20 (80% healthy, 20% cheat meals) rule, and it worked... for awhile.
Nowadays I follow the IIFYM (If It Fits Your Macros) lifestyle. One gives you the freedom to enjoy what you eat while getting fit; the other doesn't. I eat whatever I want while getting the correct amount of protein/carbs/fat (macronutriets) in my diet, making foods like burgers/pizza/etc fit my macro needs.
Moral of the story, eating to be fit doesn't need to be bland, boring and miserable and "junk food" is not in and of itself bad for you.
