Join us for some super Hot sun, high humidity and air conditioning in the Polaris Ranger?? Huh? Yep, that was one of the main reasons that I chose the 2019 Polaris Ranger XP1000 Northstar edition. Not to mention that Polaris completely reworked the entire machine from top to bottom, engine, suspension and more, but the A/C, heat and cab was a big selling point! Now, join us in the mid south on a VERY HOT and humid day testing this beast on some practical, real world activity that we will be using it for quite often. We are starting off planting our fall food plots at our FAR Southern Illinois homestead for some property management. First, we'll start off with just idling a lot so we can each cool off in the Air Conditioning since it is in the high 90's, with high humidity, equaling a 106 degree heat index. Then after tilling up the all clay soil we'll run a steel drag with some hefty weight through the thick, and soft clay for quite a few rounds in our new food plots with the Polaris Pulling the dead weight round and round. If you know anything about land management, or dirt work, you will know that this is no easy task when you have used a tractor and power tiller to work up the soil, and the dirt is nearly all clay. Then after that challenge we'll break out the tractor cultipacker, (my wife grew up farming and they used to call this implement the 'crusher'). Keeping in mind that the Polaris is running nearly constant for several hours in this heat and humidity. Join us to see how the Polaris handles the heavy loads, long running and idle times in extreme heat, all with the Air Conditioner on and see just how it performs. Don't forget to hit the Like button, and subscribe to follow all of our land managment projects, country living adventures, Polaris Riding, Tractor projects, Food plotting, duck ponds, waterfowl food plots, excavator projects, and our new Kentucky farmhouse and land rehab that we have just started. And if you enjoy our videos please share them on social media to help us grow our channel and have like minded people who enjoy our projects join us. Thank you.
