102.5 Kgs x 4 PAUSED Bench Press
I have been feeling a bit sickly and nauseous for the past couple days, most likely due to a rare night of excessive drinking recently, hahaha. I was really hoping to get five reps with this, but due to how badly I was feeling, I did not think it would be in the cards; and decided if I can atleast hit 3, I can accept that. Unracking felt super off today as well. I tried moving the bench forward an inch or so, which helped the bar path in not colliding with the J-hooks, but made unracking harder. Warm up weights were moving pretty slowly too, so I think I definitely had a little of an off day today, and could have potentially hit five reps, if I was in a better state. Still, I am pleased that I was at least able to hit four, all things considered! That is only one less rep than my previous touch n' go record, so it seems like a good sign overall that my strength is improving. I will probably swallow my pride, and dial back the training max for bench, from here.
