WE’RE DIFFERENT, YET THE SAME

25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYBODY!!!

There's something about this passage out of Ephesians, that really challenges my heart whenever I read it, because I'm reminded of one important thing that as this passage of scripture states, we are of one body, one spirit, serving one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God only, which is something that we are forgetting anymore. I found it especially interesting, how Sheridan states that the apostle Paul is using marriage as a metaphor for the church, and how with every marriage, as well as any other relationship, you need to learn to respect each other’s differences, learn to compromise where you can, but also learn to see each other similarities. I think This is why the questions from this morning's devotional are really challenging my heart and I'd like to share them with you tonight. Please read these questions very carefully, and I pray that they'll challenge you as well.

How have differences between you and those close to you helped you both to grow?

What I'd like to do tonight, is share some things that God has put on my heart, through this vlog I'd like to share with you tonight. It's something I pray that you'll really listen to, and that you'll want to put into practice. Come join me in watching this blog, and learn what it means to know that we're different yet the same in God's eyes! 😊

So, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it will challenge you to look for not just the similarities, but learn to respect the differences that you have with each other.

How can differences between church members help to develop godliness?

My prayer for all of you right now, is that you allow God to help you take the differences that are in your relationships, and turn them into opportunities for growth. To focus not on what makes you different, but on the things that make you the same, and ask God to help you see beyond those differences. Ask God to help you respect the differences that you have with others, because who knows you might find out they're saying the same thing you are but in a different manner, or they could be right. Most of all, I pray that we will learn to ask the Lord, to help us work on our hearts and our motives behind our views. Most of all when all else fails, agree to disagree!! This is something I pray that God will do for me, and that he will do for you too.

UNTIL TUESDAY MY FRIENDS:

HAVE A BLISSFUL, SWEET, AND RESTFUL EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
