“Brave Captain” Oil Painting, Abstract Expressionist art, Black Gesso inspired by Slint's Spiderland

I was introduced to the Band Slint when I was high school. Later I am in Seattle at a record store and they had a copy of Spiderland on vinyl. I have listened to that so many times over the years. Later you come to find out that Slint Broke up just after the album was released. The album Spiderland is one of the Greatest albums that you have never heard. You should go check them out. You might understand this paint just a little bit more.
