In this video I talk a bit about APT the package manager for Debian/Ubuntu based distributions. Primarily about how apt-cache and apt-get work together with the APT command to keep your system up to date and package dependency resolution for installing and uninstalling programs from the terminal.
Plus a book recommendation. One that I use to help me not only understand Linux better but to advance my knowledge base as well.
Whats the books name you say?
The Linux command line and shell scripting Bible. Not a fan of the name but the information in the book is very in depth and complete.
