如果你说你是耶稣的门徒，你跟随耶稣，但是你并不参加任何有组织的教会，人们（参加教会遵守宗教仪式的）会立刻攻击你说：“哦，你已经停止聚会了? ”他们接着就会引用这节经文，我给你读一下，希伯来书10章的25节，从24节开始，“我们要想办法彼此相顾，激发爱心，勉励行善。不要停止聚会，像那些停止惯了的人，要互相鼓励，特别是你们知道主再来的日子近了。”他们停在这里，告诉你说：“看，你停止聚会了。” 他们误以为聚会就是参加他们的聚会，那种鼓励你继续活在罪中的聚会。如果你接着往下读，后面的经文是，“因为我们知道了真理以后，若仍然故意犯罪，就再没有赎罪祭了， 只有可怕的审判和烧灭敌对者的烈火等候我们。 (希伯来书 10:26-27 当代译本)” 他们不想读这节。

我们不应该停止聚会的前提是，这个聚会激发我们的爱心，勉励行善， 鼓励我们在耶稣面前做圣洁无罪的人。那么，什么时候，你的团契小组、你的牧师、你的教会最后一次告诉你，如果你有罪，你会下入地狱？什么时候他们最后一次鼓励你，不要故意犯罪？因为被呼召出来的人的聚会，真正的聚会是鼓励你不要与任何罪有份，不要故意犯罪，而是要活出公义。你的牧师警告过你这些吗？他是否警告过你，除非你在耶稣面前活出圣洁和公义，否则，你就在前往地狱的路上？愿耶稣的恩典与你同在。
2012年1月15日 If you say you are Jesus disciple, and you follow Jesus, but you don't go to an organized church, people immediately, (the people in the churches, the religious order) immediately attack you and they say, well you are giving up the assembly? And they quote this one verse, I want to read it to you, it's out of Hebrews chapter 10 and it says this in verse 25, it says; "Let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as some are in the manner of doing, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." They stop there and they will tell you, "See you are giving up the assembly." Well, the misconception is that the assembly you should be a part of is their assembly that will encourage you to live a life of SIN. If you read the next few verses this is what it says; "For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain and fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery hell which will devour the adversaries." They don't want to read that verse. The reason why we should NOT be giving up the assembly is IF the assembly is spurring us on to love and good deeds, and encouraging us to be holy and sinless before Jesus. So when was the last time your fellowship group, your pastor, your church told you that if you are not sinless, you're on your way to hell. When is the last time they encouraged you not to sin willfully, because the called out ones, the TRUE assembly is there to encourage you to NOT partake in ANY sin, to not sin AT ALL willfully, but to practice righteousness. Has your pastor warned you about this? Has he warned you that you are on your way to hell unless you have become holy and righteous before Jesus? May the grace of Jesus be with you.
