Pedro Hill - The Golden Days (Recording from 2019)

Pedro Hill composed the instrumental "The Golden Days" in 2018, when he made recordings under the pseudonym "John Art". Pedro was inspired to compose a fun melody that represented the music of the 50's. The result was "The Golden Days". However, this composition was not released in the "John Art" project. In 2019, Pedro updated his composition with a new recording. In 2020, Pedro listened to the 2018 recording he made for "The Golden Days" and decided to release it. So he included the recording on an EP he was planning to release. The EP was planned to include some recordings that Pedro made in 2018 and also new compositions.

When all the recordings were ready, Pedro had not yet decided on the name of the release. First, he called it "The Happy Piano", but soon he had the idea of the release portraying the 50s. So he decided that the name of the EP would be "The Golden Days" and that the cover would be done in black and white. On January 2, 2020, "The Golden Days" was released.

And now, Pedro Hill publishes the 2019 recording of "The Golden Days" on YouTube.
