This quick and easy guitar modification has drastically improved the tone of my Tokai Love Rock (Les Paul) electric guitar. These high pass filters allow you to get the same high-frequencies you would get with the guitar pickup volume on full at ANY volume. This takes out the muddy sound and lack of treble when you turn a Les Paul volume control down.

Some guitars come with these treble bleed/high pass filters already installed but mine did not. I was on the fence about selling this guitar recently and this treble bleed mod has literally saved it from being sold. This Tokai Les Paul (Love Rock) is now arguably my best sounding humbucker electric guitar.

In this video, I show you how it works and then compare it with a few of my other guitars to see how much of a difference there is.
