While this was a blind cigar review, I went into this review thinking I knew what this cigar was. My guess, based on the dark, oily wrapper and the slight box-press on the cigar, was that this was an Oliva Master Blends 3 Churchill.

On the cold draw, the Master Blends 3 was very woody, with flavors of cedar and fresh (maybe even green) wood. Once lit, the Oliva Master Blends 3 Churchill offered up a nice blast of spice on the retrohale.

Through the first few minutes, the cigar was very spicey with something creamy and rich in the background. Right out of the gate, the Oliva MB3 Churchill is really nice.

Final Thoughts

Today's Oliva Master Blends 3 Churchill was a good cigar. I really enjoyed the flavors, which, in the beginning, were quite spicy. However, they mellowed out into something that tasted creamy and delicious. I tasted cedar and spice throughout the entire 70 minutes.

The burn was even and the draw was consistently good. While there were a few times when the burn wasn't 100% razor-sharp, it's barely worth nitpicking.

Overall, this cigar was fantastic and I'd highly recommend it. The Oliva Master Blends 3 Churchill is a great smoke and earns a CigarScore 5.
