Standpoint - August 27, 2014 - Programme 2 - Depression

The following programme was recorded at the Acton studio of I.R.I.B. on August 27, 2014; it was the second of two programmes recorded that day; the first concerned the recent shooting in Ferguson, Missouri, but I managed to take a swipe at our own police anyway.

This second was also interesting if less controversial, the subject of depression. I mentioned my own experience and also the ideas of Thomas Szasz. Broadcaster Caroline Gold was the other half of the debate, and as ever Amir Tahouri in the chair posed thoughtful questions.
