Straightening warped Damascus steel

Not happy at all with the Damascus I bought. It was over $160 bucks and they sent it to me warped and with varying thickness. I bought this from Texan knives dot com and I wont be buying any more from them. I understand I may have to straighten steel now and then, but the gross inconsistency in thickness is something I cant fix.
