Quartzsite, AZ - What's So Special? Patton's Tank Tracks

So why do so many people flock to Quartzsite, AZ every winter? What's it like and isn't it crowded? It's what you make of it! You can camp way off by yourself or be near folks in RVs more like yours. Why are those people out there in the middle of nowhere like that? And what's to do there? The history there is varied and interesting and one of the most important events in our past was when General Patton trained his 9th Armored Division There in preparation for the Africa campaign.
