Sig Sauer’s pistol division has entered what it calls the “red dot revolution” unveiling new optics ready RXP pistols at SHOT Show. Using the P320 platform, the RXP series offers four models — Full Size, Compact, XFull, and XCompact. The pistols are all chambered in 9mm and feature Sig’s Romeo1Pro Optic. The optic boasts a 6 MOA open reflex sight build with 12 brightness settings and TruHold Lockless Zeroing designed to handle recoil and return to zero. Sporting a 20,000-hour battery life, the optic is IPX-7 waterproof rated and is houses in aircraft-grade aluminum to prevent corrosion.

On the entry level side, the P320 RXP Standard Full Size and Compact pistols use contrast style suppressor height backup sights that co-witness should the optic fail at any point. The P320 XFull and XCompact RXP offer a slight upgrade with X-Ray 3 Day/Night suppressor height sights and XSeries grip module. The XFull and XCompact RXP is priced around $899 with optic included while the Standard Full Size and Compact versions slip into the market for a little less.

For P365 fans who want that sweet red dot capability, Sig has also unleashed a P365 XL version that is red dot ready with Sig’s own micro red dot. The micro red dot offers 8 brightness settings and also sports an interesting rear sight notch in place of actual iron sights.
