A skilled pilot landing diagonally in 40 knot wind

Planes fly on highways of wind and air. No problem there until the air and the runways don't align with each other.

So a pilot lands on his highway of air, even though many times they don't align with each other, so the pilot “crabs” his plane until the last second and turns the plane to land on the runway.
