Linda and I traveled down to Britt, Iowa for the 2021 National Hobo Convention, hoping to meet Hobo Shoestring and other hobos who love to live free and travel. One thing we discovered right away is that we really liked these folks and their love of life! They are very accepting to all they meet and we felt right at home camping there in the Jungle with them. The thing we have most in common is the idea that travel is all about the journey and not so much the destination, something we've practiced all our lives and actually base this YouTube channel on. Well, when we got there we ended up camped right next to Shoestring and got to share each other's stories and pasts! If you've ever wondered what it's like to hop a train and ride the rails, then you'll find this interesting! The interview here was on Shoestrings channel last week, but there's a lot of additional clips including a little chat with the local police for doing a little exploring around the yard and checking out the tracks. Getting out on the road is what Linda and I love to do with our converted cargo trailer camper. We're part time nomads and the nomadic lifestyle suits us to a Tee.
