Morning Musings # 202 New Wineskins Are Required for New Wine. Jesus' Words from Mark 2:22

Mark 2:22 “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the wine would burst the wineskins, and the wine and the skins would both be lost. New wine calls for new wineskins.” ~ Jesus the Christ

At the time when Jesus said these words, he was trying to pour "new" concepts and new truth into the old wineskins of Judaism or Torahism.

Today, 2000 years beyond his time... which should be a time of greater expansion of mind (greater things shall you do), we find that the Christian paradigm is yet another one of those Old Wineskins and it prevents us from expanding into New Wine.

I see this every day, how some simply cannot stretch beyond it's skin. It cannot stretch into realms beyond the Biblical narrative and Jesus.
