How to deal with Rejection on the Dance Floor

Why: I wanted to talk to you all about how to deal with rejection on the dance floor.
So what happens is: You walk up to somebody who you want to dance with, you are either A: excited or B: a nervous wreck.
Solutions: Do not act offended, play it off very stoic lack. Act unfazed and unemotional. There could be a plethora of reasons why this person has said no. Maybe they do not like this song, maybe they are tired. Maybe they are too scared or nervous to dance. I personally suffer from low confidence so If I ask you to dance and you say no, I will not ask you again that night. I will ask you again another night, so two times total. If you say no the second time, I will probably wait 2-3 months before I ever ask you again.
As far as how to say NO or reject a dance offer:

HOW a person says no is important, don't be rude about it, don't be elitist about it.

if you dont wanna dance right now, but maybe later a simple.

"Hey not right now, but I'd love to later!"

If you are shure you dont want to dance with person ever, giving a clear no without giving reason may be more effective.

As I said before: People have a right to refuse any dance for any reason at all

If you’re polite about it, people will still ask you to dance!!

Lastly if someone does not want to dance with you do not worry about them. Focus on the people who do enjoy your company and those that want to dance with. Focus on the positive, especially as a beginner.

This leads me to another point that the more experienced dancers need to treat beginner dancers like glass dolls. Handle with care, you can either be inspirational to them or scare them away and thus never pursue dancing again.
