Dr. Sue Savage-Rumbaugh currently sits on the Board of Directors of Bonobo Hope and is formerly a Senior Scientist at The Great Ape Trust. She is the Linguistic and Scientific Researcher responsible for the Lexigram used to communicate with Bonobos. She is often associated with Kanzi and Panbanisha. Her work has proven that Apes have language and can communicate across species. She was named amongTime Magazine’s 100 Most interesting People in 2011. This interview was originally recorded in 2012.
