I live in the New Braunfels area in Texas and our power like utilities and stuff go through nbu New Braunfels utilities. And they sent out an email regarding extremely high power bills. And it's not like our usage has gone up a lot but they have this like a new thing called pcra which I'm not entirely sure about. It's like an add-on that they're charging onto customers because of the price of power like for them. And then the email they say Russia invasions and Ukraine as like the first reason why. And then under that, it says because Texas exports a lot of oil. right. Yeah, I don't know when my girlfriend showed me that email I just kind of lost a lot of stuff. Well, that's another perfect example of privatizing the profits and socializing the costs. You know that also both date the cost for people in Texas. Of course there's a socialized cost with fossil fuels, to begin with. And so you're getting it twice. You're paying for it really three times. You're paying for the cost of the energy. Then you're paying for any of the environmental or health impacts of the drilling in your state. And then you're also paying for all of the implications of climate change. Right. And then I think sometime last week they sent off another email that they were gonna bring down we used our price by like 10. But then they're gonna raise what waste water usage by eight percent. And then I can't remember something else they raised so I mean in the long run we're still not gonna. BP just announced record-breaking profits. This comes on the heels of Exxon announcing record-breaking profits. They're all doing quite well. But listen I appreciate the phone calls. Hang in there. thank you so much all right. Bye-bye.
