Take your issues up with the Old Testament: A discussion of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Polygamy and Priesthood. I feel like there are many who don't grasp how both polygamy and priesthood restrictions based on lineage are not exclusive to the Church of Jesus Christ, but they are the common history of all Christianity. Now I’m not saying I have all the answers to the specifics of why the Lord has commanded or allowed polygamy for his servants or limited the Priesthood and administering it’s ordinances by lineage in either this dispensation or in previous ones, but I am saying that many of the criticism spoken toward the Church of Jesus Christ either are ignorant of Christianity’s roots, or presume God’s intent where He has not clarified. But until He does, I will do my best to follow the light and knowledge I’ve been given, and I hope you can do the same!
