US Defense Department Developing A.I. Program to Fight Fake News

DARPA has a new cutting edge project their working on. And no, it's not an invisibility cloak, nor a jetpack. Rather, it is a super advanced artificial intelligence program that will seek out "fake news" and label it as such. While the program is purported to fight misinformation, it more than likely will be used to simply silence legitimate news stories which make the US government look bad. This likely is the first step towards a Pentagon led censorship campaign, in which they will likely partner with big tech to shut down dissent.
