Los Angeles Lakers

In 1950, a group of true “Pioneers” arrived in the NBA. They were Earl Loyde, Chuck Cooper and Nate Clifton. They were also the first black African players to arrive in the NBA On Nov. 22, the Los Angeles Lakers and Detroit Pistons game set the NBA's lowest score, 19-18(the George Mikan scored 15 points) ; Chicago Stags and St. Louis Bombers are dismissed.
