US and Taliban Reach Peace Deal in Afghanistan

The long running series of peace talks between the US and the Taliban has finally produced a peace deal which may finally end the war in Afghanistan. The deal is all but finalized, pending President Trump's signature. It is insane that the media seems to be completely ignoring what historians may look back on as the twilight of the longest war in American history.
