On the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago, which has backfired in a spectacular fashion. Some of the signs include that the issue was one that had been under discussion between Trump officials and the National Archives, where the documents in question appear to have been merely a cover-story for smearing Trump, planting evidence or introducing listening devices throughout the estate. As proof of the absence of urgency, the warrant was signed on Friday, 5 August, but only executed on Monday, 8 August. The 30 armed agents who conducted the raid would not share the warrant with a Trump attorney on the scene and asked that the security cameras to be turned off while not letting her observe what they were doing. which included rifling through Melania's wardrobe and drawers and cracking Donald's safe, which turned out to be empty. While the cameras were initially turned off, his attorney directed they be turned back on, which meant that Trump and his family actually had a better view of what was taking place than his attorney on the scene. Dennis offered many astute observations, where things got a bit wild at the end with calls from Bruce in TX, Paul in CA, John from unknown, and Ken from MI. Dennis was excellent throughout.
