Jobs Growth is Slowing in the US

The BLS has released the non farm payroll report for August and it missed expectations, bigly! Jobs growth so far in 2019 has been much slower than in 2018. Could the labor market now be feeling the effects of the coming recession? Employment, after all, is always one of the last indicators to signal a recession.
