Hi, Dye the Safe Guy here, Dye Hawley Sales Manager at Safe & Vault Store to talk today about the Fort Knox Original Pistol Safe. This is also known as the model PB1.

This safe is 4.25" high, it's 12.50" wide, and 10.50" deep. It weighs a massive 22 pounds. You can also store up to 2 pistols with clips inside of this safe. It features the well known and extremely reliable Simplex mechanical lock. There are 5 buttons here. There are over 1,000 combinations that you can program in on your own. The nice thing about this lock is that you hit two buttons simultaneously then 1, turn the knob and it opens right up.

To help you out, there is a gas-assisted piston here so you can get your weapon in your hand in less than 10 seconds. Somebody at night is kicking in your door, you just punch in your combination, you don't have to look at it, you can feel it with your fingers. It pops right open, you grab your weapon and you're ready to go.

The inside is nicely padded so you don't have any scratches on your bluing. There are also multiple layers so if you have some thicker weapons, you can go ahead and take one layer out so you give it a little more height on the inside of the safe.

Also, it comes from the factory standard with 4 anchor holes pre-drilled in the bottom. So you can anchor it into a drawer. You can anchor it into an RV. Anchor it wherever you want to. It's all set up and ready to go for you.
